Would you trust your business to a bunch of freaks?

14 Dec

The people at Copeland are a dark, twisted lot.

First, there is the obsession with the undead, which has been well-documented in this blog and has resulted in several of our interns being eaten, and a first-time father (Shane Goth) having his office painted into a horror show in his absence.

Nothing says “Congratulations on becoming a Dad” quite like a zombie wall mural.

Now there is this collection of “very special people”, the politically correct designation for our latest incarnation as soothsaying circus freaks.

Please click on this link to find out what characters like Albino Man and the Human Spider predict for 2011.

With the way advertising has turned on its head the past year, it seems fitting to have people like Half Boy here help our clients navigate the new terrain.

We wish you an interesting and unpredictable year ahead. Garrrarararrghg.

You all have plenty of creative energy to spare, and have a great team with a fantastic “corporate culture”. Any client of yours would be in very, very good hands.

    Love it.

Allow me to predict, “The love affair with zombies will be tied directly to the price of gold.” Permission granted to add that to your neat little video in the BlogPoster&CopelandSupporter section. Illustrate me as a The Hunchback of Wall St, please.

After all, zombies are recessionary monsters whereas vampires arise in boom times. We are all zombies now.

    > Thanks Renee. Of course those hands are 6 times the size of normal human hands and purple.

    > Well the good thing about zombies Amy is that we’re hard to kill and we multiply faster than rabbits at U Vic. You can be the honorary Copeland Hunchback though.

Freaks and geeks are more than just ‘in’ — they’re hot. How’s it feel to be so cool?

    • dougbrowncreative December 14, 2010 at 5:36 pm #

It’s always a bit cooler here at altitude Reg…

Awesome! And I didn’t even have to pay 50 cents for admission.

And I think that a zombie wall mural is a great way to celebrate any of life’s major milestones.

The other Amy is our Honorary Hunchback, maybe you could be our Honorary _________ . ?

I think Asmaa has hit it dead on. Need counseling? We’ve got a drug for that!

Hmmm, you kinda already have all the bases covered, but you don’t have a dog-faced anyone. So, I could be your Dog-Faced Girl!

    > Scribber9, do you do house calls?

    > Amy, you can be our Dog-Faced Girl. The story can be that your mother was attacked by a German Shepherd when she was pregnant with you. Nice!

  9. Amy December 16, 2010 at 7:22 am #

I’d prefer it were a Golden Retriever, but German Shepherd will do. That’s probably where I get my protective streak from and my secret desire to be in law enforcement.
