As the September winner of the poll, we were automatically selected. We now find ourselves with 6 days to somehow win this thing against 11 other monthly winners, all from the U.S.A.
Why should a small town Canadian agency bother to try and win against big U.S. agencies?
Well aside from the exposure and PR that might accompany a win and the vote itself, the poll creates an equal playing field to show how well these agencies get and can use social media effectively to acquire votes.
Size and geography is relatively immaterial. Oh sure, a bigger agency has more folks working the phones. But the best social media strategy will win.
We can TELL you we know what we’re doing in social media. But that and $2.50 will get you on the bus.
Winning a poll like this will put the bus fare where our mouths are.
