The perfect gift for every occasion

28 May

Question: Do you ever find yourself with clumps of your own hair in your hands after bouts of over-thinking what gift to get for that birthday, that wedding, that anniversary?

I sure do, which explains the state of my hair.

But here is the absolutely perfect solution: give a cow.

Cow at a Brahman's home in India

The gift that keeps on giving.

In rural India, a cow is an amazing source of income and nutrition. You can buy one for an Indian family for about $200. Check here and here and here. Of course there are many other organizations to work through.

You simply make a donation to a charitable agency in the name of the person(s) whose special occasion you wish to honour, and a cow is purchased for the family. I would do some research before committing the cash, but what a beautiful idea.

Short on cash? Chickens go for $16 a pop.

But there’s a lot more that you can give than animals. There are gifts of education, business skills, tools, vaccinations, food, dental care…the list is endless.

Set your budget, find the perfect gift.

LOVE this idea.

Imagine how this could change the world if truly embraced. Then the only thing guys would have to fret over at Mother’s Day and anniversaries is goat or pig! Looking forward to seeing you bro.
